A highly motivated, independent and creative individual holding a 2:1 degree in 2D design involving Illustration, surface pattern and graphic design. Alongside this degree, various other qualifications in 3D subjects - achieving a ‘Triple Distinction’ - interior design, visual merchandising, prop & model making and art & design, demonstrating efficiency and adaptability. An opportunity was presented to participate in a conceptual design competition for Concorde unrelated to my qualifications. The piece was ‘highly commended’ and displayed at the Mall Galleries in London. This improved my transferable skills, organisation and ability to work under-pressure. Keeping up with current technological requirements, I am under-training graphic software: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and InDesign. I have 11 years experience of working in the retail sector -Alliance Boots - at various positions. The tasks were based on individual initiative as well as team-working. I believe the length of previous employment reflects my commitment and dedication.
