Hugo Prades Claessens (Luxembourg, 1973) est diplômé en architecture de Bruxelles en 1997. Au début de sa carrière, il a collaboré avec des architectes renommés tels que J.L. Piñón à Valence, Enric Miralles (EMBT) à Barcelone, Salvador Pérez Arroyo à Madrid, Pierre Vanden Broeck à Bruxelles et J.M. Torres Nadal à Murcia. En 2000, il a fondé son propre cabinet d'architecture à Bruxelles, où il a dirigé des projets pendant près de cinq ans. En 2005, Hugo a rejoint Idom/ACXT en tant que directeur de projet, supervisant des projets clés comme le Centre d'Énergie Renouvelable à Murcia, la réhabilitation complète de la Banque d'Espagne à Castellón, le Nouveau Siège de la Police Locale à Elche, le Nouveau Stade de San Mamés à Bilbao et diverses missions pour le Parlement Européen à Bruxelles. Son portefeuille comprend également plusieurs projets de logements et de bâtiments publics à Paris. En 2012, Hugo a cofondé ONYON arquitectura + interiorismo avec Ion Zubiaurre Ros. Initialement axée sur les concours d'architecture, la firme a remporté divers prix et mentions. Dès 2015, ONYON a recentré ses activités sur des projets "clé sur porte" de petite et moyenne envergure, mettant l'accent sur un design méticuleux et une qualité de construction élevée. En 2024, Hugo a co-fondé Sharp Architectures, intégrant une expertise architecturale et ingénieriale avec une spécialisation dans les constructions en bois durables. Les projets de la firme sont reconnus pour leur faible impact environnemental et leur viabilité financière solide grâce à un design innovant. Hugo est également enseignant, ayant donné des cours et ateliers sur la construction en bois, la préfabrication et la durabilité à la CEU Cardenal Herrera School of Architecture à Valence pendant trois ans. Son expérience internationale étendue inclut des collaborations en Belgique, France, Angleterre, Italie, Russie, Argentine et Brésil. Il parle couramment l'espagnol, le français, l'anglais et l'italien.
