I’m the manager of Technical and Engineering team in Rochester Gauges Belgium. Improving production, tools, workflow is my current work.
Main projects : • Project manager : Deployment of Lean Manufacturing in factory. Supply chain diagnostic and improvement proposals. Project Managment, production team and support management. • Accurate analysis of production processes : time cycle, pace, cost, team members, support group, actions, means of communication. • "2018 - 2020" Road map construction to reach the operational excellence. On a daily basis : • Creation of Lean tools : A3, 8D, AVP, VSM, 5S, Genba Walk, QRCI. • Creation of an IT platform to share Lean tools accross the plant. • Orientation of teams on fitting Lean tools and projects launching.
The objective of this project was to classify the Belgian wood with the European norms. I hosted the client, developed the measurement tools and organised the test floor. • Mechanical test implementation ; • Test floor organisation ; • Sensors' LVDT use ; • Measurement tools development ; • Material resistance analysis to set Belgian wood norms.
Innovative project created in association with the M.I.T and UCL. The project had for ambition to think about a new solution of building construction. The idea was to develop the autonomous construction by drone. • Research in the field of building construction automated by drones ; • Assembly of a unique high-tech drone ; • Study of a Total station of land surveyor to guide a drone.
A work-study year with a project in R&D. It was a feasibility and innovation study around the creation of new control console for seed drills. • Writing specifications ; • Calculating budget ; • Developing the study ; • Searching for new technologies.
