Heading up a new division in Astra which will initially service renewable energy projects from Solar to CCS in the UAE, Oman, Saudi and Qatar, whilst also developing new projects with partners across the GCC, India, and internationally.
Leading, managing and mentoring a dynamic project team in an Early Civil Works EPC project for ADNOC in Abu Dhabi, concerned with civils, mechanical, and temporary camps on an offshore island. Also advising as to the development of a new division of Astra called Astra Green which will decarbonise its facilities and build renewable energy facilities locally and in India. We will also advise its present clients as to energy transition technologies available to help them decarbonise their operations here in the Middle East but also in India as immediate targets. A hugely challenging and ultimately rewarding task which brings me back to the place I had lived and worked for 15 years.
