After getting rejected from the CN Yang Scholarship offering in NTU, I was devastated that I could not have additional opportunities to gain research experience as an undergraduate. Nevertheless, I continue to pursue my passion in biological research, because I always love to apply critical thinking to uncover the molecular basis of disease development in humans. Being a resilient learner, I have been networking with industry professionals to understand more about my preferred career path, as well as diligently improving my laboratory and data analytical skills in Python through relevant coursework.
