JC Hsu is the Vice President of MediaTek. He has overseen the rapid adoption of MediaTek Dimensity 5G smartphone products, their sales and marketing, and has cultivated strategic partnerships with world's best-selling Android smartphone brands. As an engineer with over 20 years experience, JC has recently helped expand MediaTek’s advanced portfolio of technologies and cultivate new business opportunities in emerging Automotive and ASIC markets. His work has helped pave the way for innovative new solutions in high-demand growth markets such as high-speed wired networking and wireless connectivity, bringing compelling performance improvements and desired features to 5G mobile devices. Today, he is working on continuing to grow 5G from mainstream through flagship, empowered by continuous innovation of MediaTek Dimensity 5G-integrated chips.
Since joining MediaTek in 1999, Dr. Hsu has served in a number of key roles, including as General Manager of MediaTek’s Optical Storage division. He joined the New Business Development department in 2010 and was promoted to Vice President in 2015. Dr. Hsu led the department to incorporate potential products such as TVs and satellite navigation systems into the MediaTek product portfolio.
