Dr. Chang accumulates years of experiences in health services research as a lead analyst in various projects, responsible mainly for the study design, data management and analysis. Dr. Chang's research areas range from advancing risk adjustment models of healthcare costs and utilization, prescription drug abuse and addiction, to pharmacoepidemiology; additionally, Dr. Chang also works on projects involving the overuse identification, frailty assessment, and outcome evaluation. Most of these projects use claims or EHR as their data sources so Dr. Chang has accumulated a lot of experiences with real-world data. As of Oct 2021, Dr. Chang has published 80+ papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to review 130+ manuscripts from 49 journals.
