I am a student from India, who always had the desire to come abroad to pursue my undergraduate studies. Through tons of trial and error, I managed to secure offers from many of the world's top universities. Moreover, I researched a lot of different careers that one could pursue in industries like Finance, Marketing, etc. I would love to share these experiences and insights about these two topics.

I was selected out of thousands of applicants for the Spring Insight Programme. I got a deep dive into the bank and the Global Market and Global Corporate & Investment Banking divisions. I successfully converted my spring week to a summer internship for 2022 in the Global Markets division.
MVSTF is an organization that works with the Maharashtra Government in rural development. It assists the government in the implementation of multiple projects and policies. I am working on a 300 million USD World Bank Project called ‘State of Maharashtra Agri-business and Rural Transformation (SMART) Project’. This project aims to better the agricultural situation in the state by supporting inclusive, sustainable growth for various value chains and will help better the lifestyle of farmers. I conducted secondary research into a specific aspect of the project called ‘Agri-business Stewardship Councils’. I studied various international case studies and in specific learning about a very important commodity of cotton. Thereafter, I produced a comprehensive report on the same along with an overview of India and Maharashtra’s agricultural situation.
I did a month-long internship at the Global Hospitals in Parel, Mumbai. I learned some of the methods that this hospital uses to market its services. I went to the field and visited doctors to tell them about the hospital's various services. I helped organise a corporate workshop to promote the hospital to employees of that company as well. This work experience helped develop my communication skills and gave me a keen insight into the world of marketing and taught me its importance.
