About

Hoyoon is a problem solver and student studying Political Science and Product Design at Stanford University He has been solving problems around him since he was 15, where he entered government service as Transportation Commissioner of the City of Meridian, tackling the traffic infrastructure issues facing the 2nd fastest growing city in the nation. He later founded Loba Boba, a company that reimagined a drink he loved by making it healthier, which won him the Idaho High School Entrepreneurs Challenge in 2024. Today, Hoyoon continues to explore how systems (whether in policy, design, or technology) can be rethought to do good in the world.Through his work at Neopply and beyond, he hopes to spend his life building solutions that create more opportunity for the communities he came from.

    I helped TeachIdaho digitize parts of their International Economics Summit, a hands on way of learning economics concepts. The work that TeachIdaho does touches on the vast majority of high school students in the Treasure Valley and Idaho, and by digitalizing their trading platform, it cuts down a lot of human labor in the pre and post stages of the Econ summit.
