• Provide holistic, evidence-based nursing care to orthopaedic patients. • Monitor, assess, and record patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes. • Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound care, mobility support, and pain management. • Administer medications and IV therapies following hospital policies. • Educate patients and families on post-operative care, rehabilitation, and pain management. • Work collaboratively with consultants, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with NHS guidelines. • Adhere to infection control and health & safety protocols. • Support junior staff, healthcare assistants, and student nurses in their development.
