My passion is in helping people solve problems. I always enjoy a challenge and when faced with one, I would appreciate the opportunity to assist in solving it. Currently studying in Temasek Polytechnic under the Diploma of Chemical Engineering in the final year. Took up the elective of Applied Chemistry, enabling me to study further about the process of the lab method validation process which can be used in the working world. Furthermore, in the 3 years of studies in Chemical Engineering, I have achieved multiple lab skills that could be used in the workplace like Gas chromatography, High-performance liquid chromatography, Titration and the use of the Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. I feel that my greatest strength is in being the person that holds the entire team together. I work best in a team like setting where work is being delegated out in rational amounts. I especially enjoy tackling on challenges with a team as there is no better feeling than celebrating the harvest everyone reaps when we solve it.
Working in the RSAF as an officer, and as a UAV Pilot.
-Ushering patients into respective venues -Registration of patients pre-vaccination -Compliance to SOP on job-site -Demonstrated language flexibility when conversing with patients. -Demonstrated customer service skills when tending to patients without prejudice.
-Worked on a bacterial detection project. Goal was to create a portable detection system that is optimized to cultivate and detect the presence of E. coli within the tap water. -Chemicals and bacterial culture created manually through lab techniques learned in lessons. -Side project of a micro-animal detection system which was to be automated.
-Serving of food items to their respective tables. -Practiced good hygiene techniques when handling with food items that are to be served. -Demonstrated excellent customer service when conversing with customers. -Adopted a customer service mindset when leaving the job, allowing me to always place the customer first.
-Taught me the skill and importance of customer service. -Picked up some technical skills like being a mascot and walking on stilts. -Greatest accomplishment was taking part in the Chingay 2020.
