As part of my job, I am on the welcome desk at Waitrose. From this so far, I have enhanced my communication and time management skills by understanding what the customer needs whilst making sure I have time to complete the task successfully. Additionally, I am part of the Click and Collect team, meaning I am often using technology to find what parcels are needing to be collected and sent to customers effectively and efficiently
Within this role, I am either coaching children in multi-sports or athletics whether that be setting up stations and activities or giving direct feedback about their progress. Or I am working at the attached after school club ‘The Den’ in which I am looking after and attending to children’s needs through playing and colouring. Through both of these roles, I have developed my self confidence to deliver strong sessions in front of a large crowd.
