About

I study conversation. Specifically, how brands can use humor to communicate with their consumers, and how consumers communicate with one another in consumption contexts. Along with Dr. Peter Ubel, I have worked to develop an online grocery store called "Howe's Grocery" that can help researchers understand factors that affect consumers' choices in an online marketplace (https://openscience-onlinegrocery.com/).
