BSc in Environmental Science: Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of Southampton. I enjoy learning about the interconnectivity and processes of our natural world and ways in which we can modify our actions to benefit both people and planet.
Over summer I worked at a local organic vegetable farm and enjoyed learning more about the agricultural sector from the team.
I completed a rapid evidence assessment on how growing industrial hemp as a bioenergy crop impacts ecosystem services and attended a research conference with Supergen Bioenergy Hub.
I returned to work as a Food Runner at the Ivy Exeter restaurant over the summer.
I worked as an intern on the Wild Citizens Project run by the School of Education at the University of Southampton. In this role I helped to run nature clubs in primary schools, aiming to enable children to engage with their environment, as well as supporting the research elements of the project through independent remote work.
