I make movies that dare to express what women have silently been thinking for years. I also teach actors how to live truthfully under their given circumstances. I have been working in the entertainment industry since the age of 13. Starting as a ballerina, I lived the gypsy lifestyle for over 20 years moving from San Francisco to Milwaukee and finally New York City dancing my way across the globe. My first acting role was the leading role of "The Girl" in the short film, Betaville, which earned me a cult following and roles in at least 20 other underground films in New York. In 1994, I wrote, directed and starred in "Nymphomania", which was picked up by the British Film Institute and opened their History of the Avant-Garde series video entitled The Cinema of Transgression. You can see my movies here: www.hollyadamsfilms.com Now living in Albuquerque, NM where film tax incentives are available, I have written, directed and produced the short films: Hot Dog, Here Boy, Plots, Leather Kittens Gone Bad, An Unlikely Hero, The Gift, The Man-App, Shadows of Waste and a music video for a Los Angeles pop star. I am now in development on a musical version of my second feature film, "The Man-App", a romantic comedy where you can have "the man of your dreams at the touch of a button". I am currently in post production on my firstfeature, No Place. We will be working the film festival circuit with this movie! https://noplacemovie.com/ I am looking for other dreamers, producers, creatives who believe in making our dreams come true! Teach actors to Use some of the Meisner technique in their performances.
No Place is an action crime thriller feature film where Badlands meets Thelma and Louise. It will be a badass cult film for the Me Too era! Two desperate teens flee their traumatic pasts trying to outrun the law until they discover that the home they seek is within each other. No Place is a raw and edgy, fast paced ride into eternity and back again. Set in a white trash world against the mystical ambiance of the road, No Place has the vibes of a 90's road picture nostalgic for the 50's The film gives a visual wink to the operatic violence of Quentin Tarantino, the breathtaking landscapes of Terence Malik, and the dreamlike wonder as in Wizard of Oz.
