As CTO and Head of R&D for the Brand Group, my challenging remit includes the implementation of the latest technology (Inustry 4.0, M2M, IIoT) into machines build decades ago. Supported by a team of mechanical and electrical technicians I make sure that Brand Felt is able to provide first class felt products. Machine designs from scratch (including 3D-prototypes) to the final installation in the production. I look after Health and Safety (JHSC cert.) and the Energy efficiency (Nominee of the 2015 Continuous Energy Innovation Award) and develop technical felt solutions for our customers.
