About

My laboratory uses the nematode C. elegans and mammalian models to elucidate the genetic pathways and molecular mechanisms that control cellular fat storage. We seek to understand how fat deposition and mobilization are regulated at lipid droplets, which are evolutionarily conserved organelles for fat storage.
