I've spent 9 years at Visa building the payments infrastructure, fraud intelligence, identity, and authentication products that sit inside every card transaction — the AI systems that decide in milliseconds whether a transaction is legitimate, the behavioral biometrics platform that blocks bot attacks at network scale, and the transaction monitoring infrastructure that protects $40B in annual transaction volume across 14,500+ issuers, acquirers, and merchants worldwide. I am authorized to work in the United States and do not require visa sponsorship now or in the future for any role. My focus for the next chapter is product leadership roles across the fintech ecosystem, where I can take the network-level depth I've built at Visa and apply it directly to business outcomes — on the acquiring side, merchant side, issuing side, in embedded finance, or across the next generation of payment rails. What I've built: • Grew a six-product AI fraud and payments risk portfolio from $0 to $320M in annualized revenue across 5 global regions. • Built VAAI Score from 0 to 1 — a real-time ML fraud detection model achieving 0.19% false positive rate, now protecting hundreds of issuers and merchants globally. • Drove $300M+ in new revenue with Visa Network Defense, mitigating $40B in payment fraud across card networks, token-based payments, digital wallets, and new payment flows. Domain expertise: Payments infrastructure · card networks (Visa/Mastercard) · authorization and clearing · issuer solutions · merchant acquiring · ACH/RTP/FedWire · token-based payments · BaaS · embedded finance · credit card products · debit card products · prepaid products · buy now pay later (BNPL) · interchange · card-not-present fraud · real-time fraud scoring · payment enumeration · AML/KYC · ML model lifecycle · behavioral analytics · PCI DSS · 3DS/EMV · open banking · loyalty & rewards · transaction-linked offers · spend analytics · chargeback management · dispute resolution · regulatory compliance · risk management Currently exploring: Director PM and Principal PM/Product Lead roles in fintech, payments infrastructure, AI products, and fraud/risk — particularly at companies building the next generation of payment rails, acquiring infrastructure, or embedded finance platforms. • Owned product strategy, GTM, pricing and monetization, and P&L for six AI-powered payments fraud and identity products — spanning card-not-present fraud, payment enumeration, account takeover, and token transaction risk — growing the portfolio from $0 to $320M in annualized revenue across 500+ issuers, acquirers, and merchants in all 5 Visa regions with a Director-level impact. • Identified $1B+ annual ecosystem harm from payment enumeration attacks on card-not-present authorization flows; built VAAI Score from 0→1 — achieving $13M ARR. • Built Visa Network Defense — a network-scale real-time transaction monitoring and fraud prevention system covering card-present, card-not-present, token-based payments, and digital wallets — scoring 1B+ transactions in month 1 of launch; system now mitigates $40B in annual fraud across Visa's global payment network. • Owned full ML product lifecycle — training data strategy, feature engineering, precision-recall tradeoffs, model evaluation (TPR/FPR/AUC-ROC), production deployment, model monitoring, and drift detection — across 4 production models. Led responsible AI practices including model explainability for regulatory review, bias testing across demographic cohorts, and model risk governance documentation. • Delivered 14 high-complexity global product launches across all 5 Visa regions, coordinating 20 PMs, 42 engineers, and 50+ cross-functional stakeholders. • Advise executive leadership on multi-year payments infrastructure strategy, AI product competitive positioning, and card scheme monetization — including business case development for fraud product investment at $200M+ scale.
• Led key strategy projects to identify new product opportunities to accelerate Credit products and create scalable services supporting core and value-added products. • Led cross-functional team of 10 to build AI-driven destination recommendation engine powered by Visa transaction spend data — applying machine learning to cardholder behavioral patterns and merchant attributes. • Owned product strategy and AI-powered personalization combining cardholder transaction spend data and behavioral signals to deliver transaction-linked merchant offers at the point of payment to drive incremental card transaction volume. • Global Expertise: Collaborated with regional product and sales teams including North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Europe to define product requirements, identify unmet client needs, and prioritize roadmaps.
• Architected Visa Behavior Analytics — an industry-first multimodal AI identity platform using behavioral biometrics and 4 ML models (keystroke dynamics, mouse movement, touch patterns, device fingerprinting) to detect bot attacks, credential stuffing, and account takeovers at 10M+ authentication requests/day; co-authored US Patent. • Engineered production ML inference pipeline achieving 98.72% true authentication rate while blocking 100% of automated bot attacks at 100ms latency and 99.98% uptime — establishing the authentication-layer security infrastructure for Visa's card payment network. • Designed highly available, scalable, and robust systems that understand ever-evolving attack vectors and provide real-time risk-based decisions for authentication requests. Falls under the broader umbrella of Trust and Security.
