Stolthaven Terminals is an owner and operator of bulk liquid terminals (handling various chemicals, veg oils, fuels and gases in bulk) with industrial facilities located around the world. As the global lead for strategy and projects, my role was to develop and support implementation of strategy of the group and its operating companies. I was leading on deal structuring, contract structuring, development of investment cases as well as in implementing stage gate project development approach.
As part of the business development team, I was involved in growth and scale-up projects. These included M&A, organic expansions and greenfield developments. My role was to provide financial and risk analysis on investment opportunities; prepare business cases and board presentation materials; and project manage multi-disciplinary M&A teams (from screening to due-diligence to close to integration). One of the highlights included the acquisition of an underinvested business, and the developing and execution of a successful turn-around plan.
Terminal Investment Limited invests in, develops and actively manages container terminals around the world. As a Business Analyst, I was responsible for developing business plans for various facilities.
Eurovet is a manufacturer of animal pharmaceuticals. As a summer associate, I developed capacity expansion plans for their manufacturing facility.
During this period, I worked on board various ships as a licensed engineer. My role was to monitor the operation of equipment, trouble shoot in case of issues, and carry out regular maintenance of equipment.
