Backend engineer with 3.9+ yoe, currently at Razorpay. I think in systems before I think in code — how data moves, where it breaks, and what it costs when it does. My interest sits at the intersection of distributed infrastructure, fintech reliability, and increasingly, AI-native engineering. I'm drawn to problems where the architecture has to evolve without the system going down — and to tooling that makes engineers faster without making them dependent. Lately I've been exploring where agentic workflows and multi-agent systems start to reshape how software gets built, not just what it builds.
- Designed and developed a WhatsApp-based Wi-Fi access and lead capture solution for Jio World Centre, integrating Meraki and FreeRADIUS to enable seamless user onboarding, premium access, and advanced metrics tracking. - Engineered the JioCX Email Billing Portal to process 200M+ daily transactions, generating summarized bills from large-scale raw transaction logs based on custom policies. - Engineered a scalable activity log system leveraging Kafka for real-time event streaming and Elasticsearch for efficient indexing and querying, tracking over a million+ API calls daily with low-latency processing and seamless data analysis. - Added Excel and PDF bill generation features, improving user accessibility and operational efficiency.
- Founding developer of the JioCX email team, contributing to JioSwift (transactional email platform), JioCampaigns (promotional email platform), and SMTP-as-a-Service (TCP-based email integration). - Enhanced system performance through optimized database design, indexing, sharding, and clustering for efficient data handling and integrity. - Implemented Kafka for high-throughput, low-latency messaging and microservice patterns to build scalable request-tracking systems. - Developed features like bulk email attachments with zip-based file handling, Google Cloud uploads, CSV error handling with detailed invalid entry reports, and personalized email campaigns via SMTP. - Mentored new hires, conducted impactful code reviews, and ensured seamless integration by collaborating with frontend and QA teams, delivering clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Applied best practices and stayed updated with technology trends to continuously enhance system performance and functionality on India’s leading CPaaS platform, JioCX.
- Built projects from scratch, including database design, API development, Multi-tenancy, Dynamic Access Control, and Notification systems. - Owned modules end-to-end, delivering high-quality features ahead of deadlines and ensuring seamless integration. - Developed test cases for Authentication systems, RBAC-based user management, and advanced caching techniques. - Designed the Team Summary reporting system with custom filters and managed Archive Delete relational entities, resolving complex bugs to enhance reliability. - Wrote clean, efficient, and well-documented code while collaborating with frontend and QA teams to ensure timely delivery and system optimization.
