Singer, songwriter, actress and label owner from Norway. Have released 6 solo albums within the jazz/pop genre, now working on my 7th, and love performing live with my brilliant band, Hilde Louise Orchestra. I have done Roxie in "Chicago", Mrs. Adelaide in "Guys & Dolls", Ulla in "The Producers" and Emcee in "Cabaret" at Oslo Nye Teater. After years as a cabaret an musical artist in Norway, my solo cabaret "The Lulu Show: Life on the never-never" premiered at Edinburgh Fringe in August 2017. Produced by the Gilded Ballon at Rose Theatre, me and my band did 24 shows and received great reviews and a few good contacts. A few years ago I toured as the front-singer for Swedish Koop on their last tour of USA, Asia and Europe, and also co-wrote the song "Stangelove". Performing "The Lulu Show - livet er en dans på renter" at Chat Noir Teater. My first "one woman show", a comic burlesque cabaret about finance, temptation and debt. Won the Norwegian Comic Award for "Best female artist" in 2015. Directed by Teodor Janson. "Lulu" is a nightclub hostess with macro economy as her main topic. The set is a German club from the 1930s. Featuring a three piece band: Anders Aarum on keys, Svein Erik Martinsen on guitars and bass guitar and Hermund Nygård on drums and double bass. Top reviews and sold out shows, still playing!
