Engineering leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering successful hardware products at scale. I bring strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a broad technical perspective — connecting hardware engineering (Mechanical & Electrical) with product, commercial, and operational priorities. At reMarkable, I’ve led the Mechanical Design/Engineering team from 1 to 16 people, launched multiple consumer electronic products with millions of devices sold, and built scalable structures for growth — including processes, KPIs, and career development frameworks. Recognized for top leadership and team engagement scores, I was selected to lead a new team in a critical domain. Now as Head of Hardware Engineering Management, I work across functions — from software and product to operations — to reduce New Product Development cycle times, manage risk, and deliver products on time, scope, and budget. I thrive on seeing the bigger picture while diving deep into the technical details when needed, always working toward the shared goal of launching exceptional products to market.
Domain lead for Engineering Management in the Hardware Engineering Department. Leading HEMs who lead HW/ME & HW/EE domains in complex NPD projects in high paced consumer electronics products development environment.
Created a dedicated department for the Mechanical Design Engineers as I grew the team to 16 highly dedicated Mechanical Design Engineers. Split the department into three sub-units each with their own lead, effectively creating an additional layer of structure. More and more focus on ensuring the Subject Matter Department is aligned with company vision and goals and clearly identifying how we can increase our efficiency in delivering high quality solutions. Further focus on our frameworks, ways of working, and SOPs. More focus on Leadership and ensure the people in the team stay focused, always improve, learn, develop, are challenged, are moving towards their goals both professionally as well as personally. Focussed on making the team focussed, positive, ready to deliver, diverse, and always looking to improve.
