Strategic Business Advisor supporting VNW Marine’s growth and regional business development across marine services. Providing strategic advisory services in: • Business development and partnership opportunities within the maritime and offshore sectors • Crewing operations expansion and client engagement • Marine surveys business development and regional market positioning • Building relationships with shipowners, operators, offshore contractors, and marine service providers across the Middle East • Identifying new commercial opportunities and strategic alliances in Egypt, GCC, and regional maritime markets • Advising on operational growth strategy, industry networking, and commercial representation
• Lead technical oversight of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems across multiple vessels, ensuring reliable operation and optimal performance of all onboard equipment and assets. • Oversee planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, including dry-docking and inspections, ensuring systems are maintained in full compliance with Class, Flag State, and international standards. • Coordinate and supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of marine machinery and auxiliary systems to ensure continuous operational readiness and minimize downtime. • Work closely with shipyards, Class surveyors, and service providers to execute maintenance, upgrades, and system repairs efficiently and in line with technical specifications. • Manage technical budgets, spare parts, and resource allocation to support maintenance activities while optimizing OPEX and CAPEX without compromising performance. • Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to engineering teams, supporting troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement of system reliability.
• Manage and oversee mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems across vessels, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient technical operations. • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maintain equipment readiness, optimize performance, and minimize downtime. • Conduct technical inspections, condition assessments, and audits to verify system integrity and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. • Coordinate with cross-functional and international teams to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of onboard systems and equipment. • Provide hands-on technical support, fault diagnosis, and guidance to vessel crews and onshore teams for effective problem resolution. • Prepare detailed technical reports, maintenance records, and documentation to support operational control and compliance requirements. • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations without compromising system reliability. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment performance, maintenance efficiency, and operational reliability.
• Assume full responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems within the engine room and associated machinery. • Collaborate closely with the Master to ensure vessel systems and equipment are maintained at optimal performance, supporting safe and efficient operations. • Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the required technical standards. • Manage spare parts, fuel, and lubricant inventory, ensuring accurate records and availability to support uninterrupted maintenance and operations. • Maintain engine room systems and equipment in a constant state of readiness for inspections, audits, and surveys by regulatory authorities and Class. • Monitor fuel, oil, and lubricant consumption, planning, and ensuring adequate supply to support operational requirements and optimize efficiency. • Ensure all safety and emergency systems are fully operational, and that engine room personnel are trained in their use and emergency response procedures. • Train, mentor, and develop engineering personnel, supporting skill development, competency improvement, and adherence to best maintenance practices.
