I am a Senior Economist at Cushman & Wakefield where I work on delivering regional insights on commercial real estate in the Asia-Pacific region. I am also a Lecturer of Economics at ESSEC Business School, where I deliver foundational courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Business Economics and Asian Economies. Dedicated to clarity and impact, my career has been one to bridge theoretical frameworks with real-world applications, enabling learning across. I previously was in Moody's Analytics, contributing to macroeconomic research and geopolitical risk analysis in the Asia-Pacific region, and Experian Asia Pacific, covering business research issues surrounding Singapore and Malaysia.
Conduct lectures for foundational module of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics as part of ESSEC undergraduate programme. Administers tests and quizzes, moderation process, and participate in pedagogical training.
In-depth economic research and advisory including forecasting, alternative and climate energy scenarios, research notes, quantitative and econometric analysis, indicator coverage, and addressing client requests for various North Asia, ASEAN and African economies. Key indicators include GDP, equity index, interest rates, housing prices. Support sales calls and business development, collaborate with PR department to present at internal and external events, media appearances, campaign moves.
Leads preparation, management and analysis of various business research projects, including Singapore 1000 Family of Rankings, SME Development Survey, SBF-Experian SME Index, Trade Payments Analysis. Leads a survey fieldwork team of over 10 members to hit survey targets. Support advisory efforts with insights. Tailoring policy research and analysis on financial and macroeconomic trends, analysing in-house data and supporting management with insights.
• In-depth research and review on selected ASEAN economies on labour and manpower policies • Data collation and preparation from various primary sources, with research and review on selected ASEAN economies. • Assists with in-depth research interviews with external stakeholders.
