Managing day-to-day operations of the NDT facility. Ensuring that targets are met in a safe, efficient manner.
-Taking digital X-ray images with a Phillips 420kV X-ray source and GE DXR 250 P flat panel imaging system and manipulating the images with the Rhythm Review software to sentence each product according to a product specific acceptance criteria. -Visually Inspecting Items for surface flaws -Training X-ray operators to attain level I Industrial Radiography qualifications. -Responsible for the safety of all persons working in the X-ray facility and ensuring that all radiation monitoring devices are calibrated -Carrying out Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Inspection on certain items
