      End of 1999 I became responsible for the powertrain engineering business and services AVL provided in the geographical areas of France, Switzerland and Austria. Location was Graz / Austria. In 2007 to 2009 I was relocated to Paris / France for integrating a new member of AVL into our group: LMM-Le Moteur Moderne in Paris-Palaiseau (140 employees at that time); in 2013 the responsibility for powertrain business in France shifted to LMM, but I kept account managment for some international French customers. Aside Austria and Switzerland I already got responsibility for the Spanish market in 2012, in 2013 for our engineering business in South East East Asia, too. Location is again at AVL headquarter in Graz. Extraordinary opportunities could be created in Vietnam meanwhile. Languages: English/French/Italian (little)/German (mother language).

      I did numerous business trips to USA before I joined in 1993 AVL´s business dev´t team for powertrain engineering services and business development for USA first, that for Western Europe in 1994 ; I got responsible for the German market in the year 1996, for France/Austria/Switzerland in 2000 - which is still one of the geographic areas of my responsibility.

      I became senior project manager in vehicle and powertrain NVH development. Later product manager for the business segment "Acoustics, Dynamics and Flow Analysis" (simulation / testing / development) responsible for arrangement of projects, business and customer relation in this segment (one of 7 in our company at that time). Content of my master thesis (completed 1983) was "engine quality control in series production"; I spent 6 month in Italy to develop an engine quality test bed in mass production ("cold testing"), started a "flying dev´t team" approach, was 1988 one of the first worldwide to introduce psychoacoustics and artificial head technology in automotive engineering; I made numerous business trips to USA (a key area of activities). I was member of following committees: 1983 - 1993 in several working groups of German “FVV” (Research Association for Automotive Industry in Germany); 1985 - 1987 Member of CIMAC Working Group on Large Engine Installations; 1989 - 1993 Active Member of Austrian Society of Noise Abatement (ÖAL),1990 - 1996 Active Member of Austrian Physical Society (ÖPG). During my technical career (1980 - 1993) I filed 16 patents and presented 18 international publications.
