- Develop and implement new IFRS 9 models into Opel Bank provisioning process. - Liaise with Finance, collections to analyze and reconcile data. - Communicate model results to key stakeholders and local risk teams. - Support in design and implementation of the appropriate operating model across Risk and Finance. - Run updates of approved models and support in the creation of material supporting a formal provisions recommendation (across Consumer and Commercial portfolios). - Developing monthly CoR and Perclose CoR. - Forecast and modeling over CoR for budget purpose. - Transversal support overall Opel Bank areas over understanding movements within the provision, CoR, and delinquency.
- Develop, socialize and communicate KPIs and KRIs to meet strategic goals. - Forecasting and trend assessment. - Develop new KPIs and KRIs by mining data in alignment with strategic goals. - Advice and support the Risk Management VP with respect to Key Risk Metrics. - Set alerts to identify data inconsistencies and errors based on pre-determined benchmarks for delivering accurate information for committee meetings. - Statistical analysis of data sets. - Build and maintain data warehouse with support from VP of Information technology to ensure timely and accurate reports. - Innovative problem solving, complex troubleshooting and skillful relationship-building with executives and teams.
- Assess the viability and impact of company-wide initiatives on the credit process and on risk metrics. - Implement and follow-up processes to enhance the quality of credit origination. - Verify the profitability, productivity and efficiency indicators in the credit process. - Generate, establish and communicate KPIs in order to propose measures to increase efficiency and improve response time.
- Develop and carry out relevant statistical analysis in order to identify risk drivers and increase profitability. - Trend analysis for key variables and ratios to enhance portfolio performance. - Develop profitability and delinquency benchmarks to determine the portfolio performance. - Develop Performance indicators and carry out analyses to evaluate qualitative and quantitative risk. - Analyze the portfolio based on performance alarms to identify the population groups that take the product to that state and propose strategies or tactical actions to return it to the expected profitability.
- Evaluate and approve loan applications for people and businesses. - Adjust credit lines, set credit polices, procedures and standards in conjunction with senior managers. - Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and carry out asset evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
- Advice customers with respect to the different loan configurations in the product portfolio. - Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans. - Prepare delinquency notices and send cases to debt collectors.
