I started my career writing control software for autonomous robots at Osaro, which gave me a foundation in real-time systems and applied systems thinking that I still draw on today. I moved into data engineering and eventually product management, where I became the founding PM for Atlas Vector Search at MongoDB. I took the product from zero to serving over 10,000 unique applications, building the search primitives and APIs that developers and enterprises use to build AI-native applications.

Created courseware and ran lectures, fireside chats, and office hours to teach Airflow best practices to 50+ professionals from around the world.
Grid decarbonization and resiliency using big data
Developed planning and control software for 6-DOF robotic arms in production fulfillment environments. Reduced pick and place cycle time ~40% through forensic line profiling and optimizing/parallelizing code execution. Led a 5-person team to integrate barcode scanning into the product.
Teaching assistant for machine learning courses offered through Stanford Center for Professional Development. Assisted ~20 professionals per cohort with the course material via remote office hours and assignment grading. Within XCS229ii I spent six weeks providing guidance on ML projects ranging from biomechanics and stock trading RL agents to supervised lyric alignment using audio data; co-led web seminar on project milestone. - XCS224N, NLP with Deep Learning, 12/19-2/20 - XCS229i, Machine Learning, 7/20-9/20 - XCS229ii, Machine Learning Strategy and Intro to RL, 10/20-1/21
