Thanks to my international "Sustainable Management of Pollution" Master – during which I conducted many projects on water pollution in multicultural and international teams - and through various stays abroad (internship in Australia, Erasmus in Italy, ...), I have managed to enhance my teamwork, intercultural skills and language skills (Italian). I am also a native speaker in both English and French, as I have both nationalities. I have a PhD in Theoretical, Physical, Analytical Chemistry, on the risk assessment of disinfection byproducts - with a focus on iodinated Trihalomethanes - in drinking water treatment, which involved developing some analytical methods by GC-MS (mainly HS-trap GC-MS). Recently I have been working as a Postdoc on Innovative techniques for the sampling and analysis of emerging contaminants in seawater. These involve the use of passive samplers and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Main field of work: passive sampling, POCIS, emerging contaminants, disinfection by-products, mass spectrometry.
