Built a Slack Integration microservice to manage all MongoDB employees’ access to public and private channels using Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB Atlas. Integrated Slack Integration microservice with core access management system to allow employees to self-service their Slack access. Re-architected synchronous task system in the core access management system to use an asynchronous I/O framework, completely eliminating all duplicate code paths for database logic
