I am an entrepreneur. As CEO & Co-founder of Metarina, we create a better connected boating world through easy-to-use technology. Together we help marinas better cater to their customers' demands. And we help boaters find the best spot for their boat. As an entrepreneur: My ambition is to combine my entrepreneurial mantra with the transformation experience that I gained as a management consultant, developing effective strategies and improving operations. Hence, continuously learning about building, growing and financing companies is what drives me. As a speaker: I seek to share my own personal perceptions and lessons that have shaped my journey, in the hope that I can pass on some of my experiences, as other mentors have done for me. Mark Twain said: “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Reflecting and talking about the latter is a passion of mine. As a student: I am a CEMS double degree graduate, who pursued a M.Sc. in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ESADE as well as a Master in International Management at Stockholm School of Economics. Before I graduated in Business Administration from Munich School of Management (LMU) majoring in Finance with a minor in European commercial law and I have gained several years of instructive work experience in management consulting and tech start-ups / scale-ups. ____________________ How I work: As an ambitious and fair team player with a strong sense of perfection and an eye for detail, I never lose sight of the bigger picture. I question given concepts and aim to make things better than before with sustainable impact. If I am convinced of something it is not enough for me to merely be good at it, I want to at least strive for perfection. What I am passionate about: I love being out on the waters. Every chance I get to experience new places at sea or on lakes thrills me. Some of my highlights were being a skipper at "Kieler Woche" of several regattas. Furthermore, I lived and worked on a sailing yacht for more than a month without going ashore.

My tasks were to help sail and navigate a fifty-four meter commercial sailing yacht through the Mediterranean Sea with 30+ new guests boarding every week. Amongst other duties I operated, maintained and repaired the vessel, especially all rigging and deck equipment.
At pagaja.com I built the product management function to enable optimised customer journeys, improved distribution channels and consulted on key strategic issues of the initial company setup.
I got to know the whole process of an annual audit with sector agnostic clients especially in regard to the implemented IT-software as well as performing various due diligence assessments. However, I learnt most during the preparation and analysis for a valuation advisory opinion.
