Responsible for the global portfolio of truck and bus charging products. Defining truck and bus-specific charging solutions, including MCS and overnight products for both public and depot charging Ensuring interoperability between Alpitronic chargers and trucks and buses on the market. Creating playbooks to support fleet customers with the selection and installation of chargers.
Creating and implementing the charging infrastructure strategy for Daimler's electric truck fleet (eActros, eEconic, eCanter) in Europe. Coordinating global charging infrastructure strategies with the US and Japan to maximise synergies for all product packages. Consulting and advising customers how best to prepare for the electrification of their truck fleets. Conducting market analysis for preferred charging infrastructure, energy management systems and installation partners. Installing charging parks and sandboxes at Daimler Truck R&D and Production facilities both in Germany and abroad. Creating training material on charging to guide the Sales organisation when selling electric trucks. Promoting dialogue with utilities through projects and initiatives in key European markets to accelerate upgrades to customers’ grid connections. Establishing the Charging Infrastructure team of six from scratch (setting up job descriptions, recruitment, on boarding).
Leading a team of eight to develop innovative IT solutions in areas such as RPA, AR/VR, AI and digitalisation of dealerships. Introducing a cloud-based process mapping tool to bring clarity to business processes throughout the company.
Electric vehicle strategy for commercial vehicles. Charging station infrastructure lead. Setting up charging facilities at production plants. Setting up charge@work scheme for use by both employees and visitors. Customer consultation to accelerate the change from diesel to electric vehicles.
Managing the CIO’s day-to-day activities including meeting schedule, minute-taking, and coordination with other board members. Organising and creating presentations for internal reporting, townhalls, workshops and external events and seminars. Coordinating activities between the IT hubs in Japan, Germany and India. Developing links with senior management in other departments to address problems, offer solutions and improve reaction times.
