About

Occupational therapist, co-founder of Saebo, and 25-year specialist in stroke rehabilitation, upper limb recovery, and neuroplasticity-based treatment for therapists and survivors worldwide. My grandmother, Sarah Eileen Booth, always lent a hand to others in need. Her spirit and dedication inspired me to become an occupational therapist and later to co-found Saebo, which proudly carries her initials. Early in my career, I was frustrated by the belief that stroke survivors “hit a plateau” and could no longer improve. I did not see patients plateauing. I saw treatment options plateauing them. That mindset led to our slogan: “No Plateau in Sight.” For more than 20 years, I have worked to prove that neuroplasticity does not have an expiration date. With the right tools, strategies, and intensity, the brain can change whether it is 3 months or 20 years post-stroke. Since Saebo’s birth, we have witnessed: -Therapists reigniting their passion by offering new treatment options. -Survivors decades post-stroke regaining the ability to perform everyday tasks once thought impossible. -A profession rediscovering what is possible when innovation meets persistence. At Saebo, our mission is simple: make rehabilitation innovative, affordable, and accessible. From early mobilization in the hospital to long-term home programs, our products and protocols have empowered hundreds of thousands of people in over 40 countries to keep moving forward. What drives me is seeing the moment when a therapist or survivor realizes: “I can do more than I thought.” That spark is why I challenge outdated rehab models, push for higher-dose meaningful practice, and share evidence-based insights with clinicians worldwide. If you are a: -Therapist looking for practical, science-backed stroke rehab strategies -Survivor or caregiver searching for tools to continue recovery at home -Healthcare professional passionate about advancing neurorehabilitation …I would love to connect. 📩 Reach out if you want to share ideas, learn more about Saebo’s innovations, or discuss where stroke recovery is headed. #NoPlateauInSight
