About

I lead from behind. I build the structure, the alignment, and the partnerships that let teams and products do the visible work to improve the customer experience and deliver business results. I've spent 15+ years doing it in a few of the hardest domains in fintech: global payments infrastructure, cross-border payments, decision models, and consumer lending. Most cross-border corridors don't fail because the rails don't work. They fail because of regulatory, FX, and misalignment issues among the multiple players involved in each payment transaction. My work is finding where systems break the experience, or where opportunities lie before others see them. I investigate, understand why, and then rebuild from there. I’m ready to apply that in any area where the customer experience is supported by complex systems and multiple stakeholders. I ask "why" early and often, because the request on the surface is rarely the actual problem. As an example, I started asking why we see a different amount on our credit card billing statement when we have chosen to pay in Brazilian Reais at a US merchant. Why can I pay with Boleto or Installments on Brazilian online stores, but not on US stores? From there, I learned many consumers had issues or limited payment options when shopping outside of their countries. With that in mind, I worked with multiple partners and teams within Amazon to offer a local payment experience for customers shopping at Amazon from other countries. When the conditions are right, when I have the space to go deep, when I'm trusted to design the system rather than perform the role, when I can step back and let the team take the stage, I don't count the hours. I go further. I go deeper. That's where the work actually gets done. I'm AuDHD, autistic and ADHD. Diagnosed in 2023, after 15+ years of building a career around traits I didn't yet have a name for. My capabilities aren't defined by that wiring, but it's the context I've always operated in, and it shapes how I work best. I'm at my best when the building and the influencing are in balance, when bringing people along is part of the work, not a substitute for it. Open to senior roles, as a team leader or as a senior individual contributor, where complex systems need someone to design the structure underneath. 📍 Currently based in Seattle. Open to relocation within the Americas, the EU/UK, or remote work. 💬 Let’s connect if you’re solving complex customer experience problems or are interested in making the work environment more inclusive
