    Preliminary studies are being undertaken for a fixed road link with a length of approx. 10 km between Als and Funen in Denmark as well as for a storm surge protection project for Copenhagen, Tårnby, Dragør and Hvidovre municipalities with a total coast stretch of approx 45 km. Environmental impact assessments and reporting based on technical description of an immersed tube tunnel partly with cut-and-cover tunnel stretches for an approx. 10 km road tunnel with dual lanes in either directions from Nordhavn to Kastrup in Copenhagen connecting Helsingørmotorvejen in north to Øresundsmotorvejen in south.

    Working as Head Consultant on the Nordhavnstunnel-project - a 1,4 km long 2 x 2 lane road tunnel crossing the harbour entrance at Svanemøllehavnen in the northern part of Copenhagen to a development area for housing and offices. Act of Construction taken by the Danish Parliament on 19 December 2019 giving the administrative approval for the implementation of the tunnel project. Initially consultancy services were procured. Responsible for the procurement and implementation of geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations as basis for the procurement of a Design & Build contract including M&E. Responsible for the development of technical documents for the procurement of Design & Build contract and giving input to all non-technical documents. Restricted EU-tender with negotiations but allowing for award based on first bid, which turned out to be the case. Contract was signed in September 2022 starting a planned 5 years construction period. Responsible for preparatory works including design, procurement and construction of a substitution harbour situated approx. 500m away for 600 pleasure boats to be moved from tunnel site in advance of tunnel construction.

    Employed at Øresundsbro Konsortiet from 1994-2000 as Design Manager in the client organisation for the construction of the bridge section of the Øresund Bridge (construction budget approx. DKK 6.5 billion (1996)). Right-hand man to the Contract Director Bridge and responsible for the Client's technical communication with the contractor, including responsibility for all consultant activity under the client in terms of architecture and technical design (Eurocode). Responsible for the preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation, contract negotiation and contract signing, the client's point-of-contact in relation to technical communication with the contractor and co-signer in respect of all correspondence on technical aspects with the contractor including claims-handling. In the final phase, responsible Parallel Works Coordinator where the contractors and installation contractors' access to the bridge was optimised to achieve an earlier opening. The bridge opened six months ahead of schedule and on budget.
