I am a graduate of École Polytechnique, École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). I started my career in 1992 at the World Bank in Washington D.C. before joining the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in 1994. I decided to join Alstom in 1998 as Head of Investor Relations and Head of Management control. In 2000, I was appointed as Senior Vice-President of Finance at Alstom’s Transmission and Distribution division, sold in 2004. From 2004 to 2010, I was chief Financial Officer of the Alstom Group, President of Alstom’s Grid division from 2010 to 2011 and then became President of Alstom’s Transport division, up until my appointment as Alstom’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2016. At Alstom, we are proud to work every day on the transformation of mobility. Together with my 86,000 colleagues around the world we strive to make Alstom the leading innovative player in green and smart mobility. In addition to my executive responsibilities, I have held several governance roles. I am an independent board member of Société Générale and chairman of the nomination committee, with a mandate running until 2029. I served as an independent board member of Rhodia from 2009 to 2011 and of Vallourec from 2014 to 2018. I have served as a member of Unife presiding board since 2011 and was its chairman from 2011 to 2014 and 2020 to 2023. Finally, since 2015, I have been President of the Board of the Alstom Foundation, the concrete expression of Alstom’s corporate citizenship commitment and a means of contributing sustainably to communities in need.
