Delivered “Profitable Sustainability”, reducing regional packaging CO² footprint by 42.9% in 5 yrs whilst pack sales increased, and exceeding Shell’s 2030 ambition of recycled content in packaging as first and only region, 6 yrs ahead of plan with operational performance remaining strong. • Led network of Procurement leads in Egypt, Poland, South Africa and Turkey to align direction, provide guidance, coach and advice, managing the top 5 key strategic suppliers. • Played pivotal role in transforming Packaging, working customer back, enabling customer wins: Achieved portfolio uplift through a long-term strategy focused on generating value, creating a clear CVP (customer value proposition) superior to Shell’s competitors: First mover on key large pack, new developed Medium size pack and a clear and consistent CVP offering high %age of recycled content in all plastic packs, reducing cost, carbon and plastics. • Identified an innovation opportunity, took initiative and led initiative to successful pilot with major customers. Created new CVP, supporting tenders, and was a key success factor in winning major customer tender.
Led, co-led and participated in projects and audits across the Royal Dutch Shell Group globally (Line of Defense 3), working with cross-functional teams covering all lines of business, Joint Ventures (operated and non-operated) as well as M&A activities. Royal Dutch Shell Group Audit (LOD3) provides objective and independent assurance on the design and operation of the control framework, corporate governance and internal controls to the executive committee and the board of the RDS Group. Key tasks include providing independent business consulting and advisory on risk management and corporate governance processes across all lines of business in the Shell Group globally. Unlike many other audit organisations, Shell Internal Group Audit looks far beyond aspects like finance and compliance, focusing more on business structures, processes, strategy and operations.

Graduand, Procurement Department (2004-2005) - Volkswagen Group China, Beijing, China Assisted setup of China branch for the Volkswagen subsidiary ‘Autovision’ and co-organized the 2005 China global sourcing workshop of Volkswagen, Audi and Bentley. Supported Procurement activities of non-metal Automotive components for VW and Audi models built in China, and of components sourced from China for VW globally. Wrote Master Thesis on Joint Venture Management of Volkswagen in China (4 locations: JVs Shanghai Volkswagen and FAW Volkswagen, global HQ in Wolfsburg, Germany and China Headquarters Volkswagen Group China Beijing (Base location).
