It’s all about the team. Always. I’ve always believed that true success isn’t about individual achievements—it’s about what we can accomplish together. The best moments in my career weren’t just about numbers, exits, or milestones. They were about standing side by side with people I trust, overcoming challenges, and building something bigger than ourselves. That belief started early. During my law studies in Freiburg, Madrid, and Berlin, I quickly realized that understanding the rules wasn’t enough—I wanted to shape them. That’s why I co-founded my first company while still in university. Later, at Bain, I learned how to turn big ideas into real strategies. Scaling up Planet Sports/21sg as CFO/COO to >€120m in revenues, I went through all the high highs and low lows that E-Commerce has to offer. And as CEO of &ever, I led our team through rapid global expansion, an acquisition by Kalera, and ultimately, our listing on NASDAQ. Every step of the way, one thing became clear: the best businesses aren’t built on strategy alone. They thrive when people trust each other, take ownership, and push each other to be better. That’s why I’ve never wanted to be a solo founder or a CEO who operates in isolation. I love being an entrepreneur in a team, working alongside talented people who challenge and inspire me. One of the most formative experiences in my journey was earning my MBA at Kellogg. As the one top 10 business school that truly embodies a team-first philosophy, Kellogg reinforced everything I believe about leadership and collaboration. And what a team I still have from those days! Today, I’m part of celebrate, a company built on meaningful connections—between people, through our products, and within our team. As COO, my role is to create the structures that allow us to grow while keeping our culture strong. Scaling a business is never just about efficiency—it’s about making sure the right people are in the right places, with the right mindset, working toward a shared vision. For me, success isn’t about ringing the bell at NASDAQ. It’s about the journey—and the people who make it worthwhile.
