As a member of the management team of the Cold Mill Works of Tata Steel Netherlands I am responsible for all 24/7 operations, overseeing 480 FTE. Directly and indirectly managing complex logistics flow within the cold mill and its surroundings. I am responsible for two Pickling Lines, two Cold-mills and several other production lines, fully responsible for ensuring workplace safety, leading personnel, and overseeing all aspects of production.
Member of the management team of blast furnaces. Leading the 24/7 production department to achieve a stable and high quality production performance of 6.5 million tons of pig iron a year (222 FTE). Achieved production records for blast furnace 7. Implemented organizational changes. Led the production department through the major blast furnace 6 overhaul.
Leading multiple departments (100+ FTE) responsible for current and future availability of Ijmuiden's two blast furnaces. Responsible for a 45M€ maintenance and improvement budget. I manage multiple departments with specialists in mechanical and electrical engineering and an IT department responsible for high level maintenance and improvement of IT-systems for three different works units. I am a member of the Blast Furnaces senior management team and fully responsible for the multi-million engineering budget.
