- Studying Operations within the Workforce and managing the systems in place to see where efficient methods can be implemented to generate productivity - Brought Lean practices into the warehouse by using the 5S strategy which increased productivity and efficiency resulting in more orders being fulfilled in a shorter period of time - Conducting time studies and developing case studies with a focus on inventory control, transfers of inventory during the move into a new warehouse, labor productivity and general warehouse operational processes - Managing and leading a group of 10+ workers in the workplace in operations ranging from Receiving inbound shipments, scheduling and documenting transfers of inventory and developing contingency plans for the company is inevitable relocation to their new warehouse - Teaming up and coordinating with various departments like planning, purchasing and accounting to work on various projects and further improve the general flow of operations within the company
- Assist in logistical support of the supply chain - Coordinate ocean and overland freight - Work with brokers to schedule inbound deliveries - Ensure timely arrival of shipments
