The role is responsible to support the Group CEO in planning and executing strategies to grow the business of Kuoni Groups portfolio. This includes M&A activities, Investor Relations and engagements with the Board of Directors. The scope comprises of 50 brands and EUR mio 6.000 turnover • Conceptualized a new digital strategy in close cooperation with the CIO • Defined a flight sourcing strategy for the Nordic tour operating brand and reduced seat costs by 18% (based in Stockholm for 6 month) • Took an active role in aircraft lease negotiations for new A321 neo fleet (> EUR mio 100 contract value) • Developed a client- & supplier value proposition including the definition of strategic goals and implementation initiatives • Supported the global mid-term strategy Kuoni Group review, including budget projections, market analyses and strategic recommendations • Prepared and presented documentations for the Executive Board
The role is responsible to support the transformation of the Procurement dept. with the aim to streamline sourcing activities and Kuoni’s hotel portfolio • Conducted a review of the Swiss tour operating business unit and supported the top management in outsourcing negotiations • Developed a standard set of business reports, ensured a successful global rollout and trained > 100 staff in London, Stockholm and Zürich • Conducted multiple process optimization workshops in Europe • Supported Europe management with market and competitor analyses
