• Define architectural and detail design plans for aircraft system simulations on new projects for various aircraft (e.g. A380, B787, CRJ-1000, C-Series, and A350) mainly for ECS systems. • Accountable for the quality, cost and schedule for various systems simulations for new projects. • Ensure simulator certification requirements (FAR/JAR) for both pilot flight and maintenance training are met for the simulations developed for the systems under my charge. • Mentor engineers in simulation development and testing as well as the troubleshooting of integration issues involving interactions with red-label avionics, cockpit hardware, and system controller algorithms. • Act as CAE's technical point of contact for customers, system OEMs, and other business partners for ECS systems simulation.
• Designed and coded real-time simulation software for various aircraft systems including any associated controllers (e.g. Air Conditioning, Pneumatics, Ice and Rain, APU, Fire, and Oxygen). • Integrated, tested, and debugged aircraft simulator software and hardware interfaces which greatly involved the troubleshooting of various communication protocols (ARINC 429, ARINC 629, RS422, AFDX). • Worked on-call and in-field for simulator updates in order to meet simulator qualification requirements (FAR/JAR).
