Partnered with CEO and leadership team to drive meaningful improvement in EBITDA and Net Working Capital. Led the successful refinancing of debt structure. Transformed the finance function by restructuring the team, and process improvements and automation at various levels. Partnered with COO to transform the operational processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, RFP and pricing) by setting up a center of excellence and review mechanisms. Led the M&A for successful realization of synergies and strong pipeline and its execution.
Appointed as a Board Member on the Sol-M Board of Directors
Partner to CEO and Board of Directors for profitable execution of significant growth of the company and enabling a successful exit to the investors. Led the 'Asset Light' strategy to divest manufacturing assets and expand Sol-M operations in more than 50 countries. Raised debt across different geographies globally. Transformed and built the finance function by setting up global tax and treasury strategies, automating reporting from 'Excel' to 'Real Time' reporting.
Baxalta was spun off from Baxter (NYSE: BAX) as a stand-alone, publicly traded company in July 2015. It was acquired by Shire in June 2016. Finance lead to help setup successful governance and strategic processes for the new independent company. Led the finance integration of oncology acquisition and transitioning of deferred countries into Baxalta (70 countries which were still part of Baxter at the time of split). With the announcement of acquisition by Shire, pivoted to support the due diligence and to close the transaction.
