Specialisation in design of bulk handling machines such as stackers, reclaimers, ship loader, ship unloaders, cranes and other custom designed plant, as well as the process of design and design leadership. Experiences were gained in aviation, transport and mining. they include the design of machines, their upgrades, and refurbishments or redesign, as well as project directing and delivery, risk management, safety of machinery, integrity inspections, accident investigations and safety system sign off. Research in design science allowed me to develop advanced engineering governance, design processes and team leadership. A project with Aviation H2 includes the development of a propulsion system to allow and existing certified aircraft to fly on carbon-free fuel. The Aviation H2 project is an exciting opportunity to participate in Australia's pivot to the carbon-free and automation economies.

Performance of Machine Design
Responsible for the product life cycle decisions associated with the company's Port Machines. Duties include development of marketing strategy, standardisation of product information and engineering design, facilitation of all activities including Sales, Proposals, Estimation, Engineering, delivery and after market service. The responsibility is for activities globally.
On completing University education, moved in the company to conduct Engineering Design and Consultation in a Principal Engineering role. the Directorship continued as before.
