Recent graduate from University of California, Davis who is interested in furthering my clinical, volunteer, and research experiences. I am currently working as a full-time Mohs histotechnologist while actively volunteering within Sacramento and Davis. I am looking forward to any experience and opportunity available as I am eager to expand my education in the healthcare field.
Conducting quantitative analysis of neutrophil density and pyramidal cell volume in the primary motor cortex to support brain mapping research with Dr. Spocter. The primary objective is to compare structural differences in the motor cortex across various rodent species.
- Prepared a small sample of body tissue for examination under a microscope to facilitate pathological diagnoses - Perform basic histology procedures of processing, embedding, cutting, and staining of tissue specimens for evaluation and diagnosis of possible remaining skin cancer - Assisting in patient rooms, answering phones, and other medical assisting duties
- Attended patient appointments and wrote narrative account of events using proper abbreviations, grammar and spelling. - Developed advanced proficiency in EPIC records management software. Accompanied physicians through day in fast-paced, stressful environments. - Accepted dictated notes and produced professional documents with outlined information. - Documented complete information about examinations, treatment plans, lab results and other details directly into charts.
