Managing the payroll infrastructure for GRT Meds and GRT ensuring harmonisation where possible. Participating in compensation projects and wider reward or HR activities, including supporting on the management of company benefits across the region. Ensuring both organisations offer competitive and innovative benefits that are aligned with, if not ahead of, the local markets Payroll: • Managing the monthly payroll for GRT Meds and GRT in UK, Ireland and Nordics, including ad-hoc changes, new starters, leavers, maternity, paternity and ensuring timely payments to employees. • Knowledge sharing with peers to create a team of payroll experts in both organisations. • Providing Maternity leave/pay advice, administer all maternity leave, SMP and SPP payments, maintaining the relevant databases. Benefits/Compensation • Ensuring organisational compliance with the Pensions Regulator and timely submission of pension submissions to the providers for GRT Meds and GRT. • Managing the employee benefits for GRT Meds • Support in the annual GRT pay review process and development of STI/LTI and salary matrices. • Assist with the production of periodic reporting and analysis. • Working to ensure timely filing of all statutory reporting requirements • Contributing to salary survey submission activity, leading on the completion of assigned surveys and ensuring full and timely submission of data. • Reviewing salary survey results and effectively using the data • Benchmarking, using market and internal data, to provide recommendations on salaries and wider reward packages, for recruitment or review purposes. • Supporting UK colleagues with global responsibilities, in partnership with the Senior HRBP, with their tax queries and ensuring compliance with HMRC
Implementing payroll and benefits for Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, France, Ireland and Netherlands following a TUPE Payroll: • Assisting in the monthly payroll process with specific responsibility for processing all leaver payments, maternity pay and Attachment of Earnings Orders. Other responsibilities include processing promotions, transfers, overtime, change of hours. • Assist with the production of periodic reporting and analysis. • Working in a team alongside Payroll Assistants, Cluster and regional HR and Cluster Finance Directors to ensure country payrolls are managed to timetable, accurately and securely. • Mapping all current payroll processes in 18 EMEA countries and work on the centralisation / standardisation project for the region. Conducting country-specific payroll process reviews. • Working to ensure timely filing of all statutory reporting requirements including management reporting, gender pay reporting and statutory filings. • Providing Maternity leave/pay advice, administer all maternity leave, SMP and SPP payments, maintaining the relevant databases and spread sheets Compensation: • Assisting with the design, implementation and management of compensation programs and policies for the region, including supporting on the annual and mid-year review cycles. • Contributing to salary survey submission activity, leading on the completion of assigned surveys and ensuring full and timely submission of data. • Reviewing salary survey results and creating tools for understanding and effectively using the data or sharing with HR colleagues and the wider business. • Analysing job descriptions to provide grading guidance, giving appropriate and consistent advice to ensure the integrity of job / grade architecture and pay ranges. Payroll • Monthly administration and processing of EMEA payroll for direct and indirect employees in conjunction with the in-country providers for Germany, UK, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Netherlands, Spain and Finland • Payroll data preparation, collect payroll data, send payroll data to payroll providers • Answer employees’ and providers’ queries • Check and reconcile payroll reports verifying monthly compensation, allowances and deductions and any other related items • Provide support and manage the back up as required for payroll functions to others payroll specialist • Manage country statutory declarations in a timely manner in conjunction with Finance and other key stakeholders • Develop and distribute payroll and HR reports to various stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner. • Manage relationships with country payroll partners to ensure timely and accurate payments, making recommendations for and implementing process improvements. • Deal effectively and professionally with issues, queries, complaints and reporting and analysis requests from the business and employees in a prompt and efficient manner, escalating as appropriate. Processing Finnish, Swedish, Irish and UK payrolls Roles, Responsibilities: Ensuring that all employees are paid correctly and on time in line with SLA & KPI Conducting regular checks to ensure the integrity of the payroll database, updating data as necessary Close co-operation with Finance and HR team to ensure accurate payroll posting including accruals, pay & benefits Liaising with the local tax office, ensuring compliance of statutory legislation Answering queries from employees arising from pay, pensions and PAYE related issues Processing pension deductions from pay and administration of the auto enrolment procedure with the pension provider Maintaining up to date and comprehensive procedure notes for payroll processing Assist with the month and year end processes
