More than 25 years experience in Oil & Gas exploration, production and development. For the last 13 years my intention was to integrate the geosciences to optimize the success of exploration wells and appraisals in clastic and carbonate reservoirs. My current position is Senior Geologist with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) responsible for the development and production in Yibal, Al-Huwaisah and Hareer fields in North Oman. I am also the project lead for the water management in these fields and coordinate the Yibal compaction and microseismic study. From 2006 -2008 I worked for the PDO Gas-directorate developing the Maradi-Huraima field, Haban, Habiba, Fushaiga, Rasafah and Harmal Gas fields. From 1998 -2006 I worked for KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) as a Geological Advisor for the fields in West-Kuwait developing the clastic Wara- , Burgan Formation and the carbonatic Mishrif, Rumaila, Hartha, Ratawi Formations in Minagish- and Um Gudair Field. From 1988-1997 employed by Mobile oil & Gas Germany as a Sedimentologist and Sedimentpetrographer in Exploration, focused on projects in the Rotliegendes, Zechstein, Bunter and Carboniferous in the North German Basin, Hungarian Basin, Silesian Basin, North Sea basin and the Baltic Basin. From 1982-1988 I earned my experience as a freelancer working for the oil industry and state institutions. Specialties: sedimentology, sedimentpetrography, diagenesis, sequence stratigraphy, facies analyses, basin modelling, 3D modelling, coal petrography, geochemistry, tectonics, laboratory analyses. Senior production geologist for the Kauther Gas Cluster Responsible for the development of the Maradi-Huraymah Field, Habibah, Haban, Fushaiga, Harmal and Rasafah Fields. Since 2008 Senior production geologist in the Yibal Oil Cluster covering Yibal, Al-Huwaisah and Hareer Fields.
