I work at the intersection of 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. My focus is not on predicting the future, but on helping organizations 𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲. Over the past two decades, I have operated across 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬, bridging emerging technologies with strategic transformation and executive enablement. My work translates foresight, scenarios, and research into decision frameworks that scale. At KPMG, I lead technology foresight initiatives and support senior leadership in anticipating technological change, assessing strategic risks, and identifying innovation opportunities across industries. I work with organizations to move beyond trend awareness toward 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 that remain viable under uncertainty. Alongside my consulting work, I hold a professorship in foresight and digital transformation. I am ranked among the 𝐭𝐨𝐩 2% 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 (Stanford/Elsevier) and have taught more than 9,000 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 in futures literacy and strategic thinking. I am driven by one core ambition: 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭.
Leading technology foresight and strategic advisory initiatives from a CTO-office and technology services perspective, with a focus on executive decision-making and cross-service coordination. Responsibility includes shaping foresight governance, aligning long-term technology perspectives, and supporting decision-ready strategies across industries.
Serving as KPMG’s technology futurist and foresight professional, working on the strategic exploration and application of emerging technologies across innovation and transformation initiatives. Focus on trend and scenario analysis, strategic foresight, and future-readiness, translating long-term perspectives into business-relevant use cases, scalable offerings, and decision-ready strategies across services, industries, and client contexts.
Held various leadership roles across digital delivery, portfolio management, business assessment, and platform services. Focus on building scalable consulting platforms, readiness and maturity models, and cross-industry transformation capabilities, including responsibility for large digital portfolios and centers of excellence.
Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Foresight Network, contributing to global foresight dialogue across public and private sectors, including insights from initiatives such as the Global Collaboration Village.
Since January 2025, the journal has been operating under a new editorial structure to support its continued growth. I serve as Senior Editor, coordinating the editorial direction alongside an expanded team of Associate Editors.
I co-founded the academic journal Futures & Foresight Science together with Prof. George Wright. I contributed as Associate Editor to establish the journal’s scope, standards, and positioning. The journal publishes articles dedicated to advancing methods that aid anticipating the future.
Editorial leadership roles at Technological Forecasting & Social Change, a leading peer-reviewed journal in technological forecasting, futures studies, and the societal impacts of technology (Impact Factor ~13+). Roles include Associate Editor, former Head of a subject bureau, and Distinguished Member of the editorial team within the Impact and Evaluation of Technology area.
