Working with the general resource geology of the Björkdal Deposit as well as process optimizations for modelling and estimation routines. General workduties include: - monthly update of the Grade-Control Blockmodel - monthly reconcilliation of the production results - QA/QC of the modelling within various domains of the deposit - modelling and re-evaluation of domains and legacy data - yearly R&R blockmodel for reporting according to NI 43-101 - implementation and testing of Leapfrog Geo and Edge for various applications and comparisons with Surpac
The deposit of Björkdalsgruvan is a narrow vein type deposit, which makes work with this deposit a real challenge for every geologist, located on the northern margin of the Skellefteå district it reflects as well the complex structural geology of this district. - drill hole planning and execution underground - rig supervision and coordination with production - core logging - structural Interpretation of the cores and modelling latest data to refine structural models - implementing new procedures for geochemical data and interpretation of it.
