- Promoted to Senior Designer after a number of years in the role, my day-to-day design activities are similar but I have more autonomy and am leading the Tesco account. - Expanded the Tesco account into Ladieswear. - Overseeing and training the design placement student. - Have actively sought training and opportunities to enhance my management skills. Nominated for and currently enrolled on an ‘Aspiring Managers’ course.
- Designing licensed Children’s Daywear, Nightwear and Accessories for both boyswear and girlswear. Also designing some licensed Ladies’ Daywear and Nightwear. - Working with licensors including Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Lego, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Universal, Bravado, Paramount, EPIC Rights, Global, BBC, Smiley, IMPs (‘Smurfs’), Magiclight (The Gruffalo), HIT Entertainment and Sanrio across 40+ licences. - Working with high street names including M&S, Primark/Penneys, Argos, BHS, Mothercare, Next, Debenhams, Tesco, TU, George, Aldi and M&Co. - Using Adobe Creative Suite to create CADs in conjunction with the branded style guides. - Working to tight deadlines with film and TV releases and in-store launch dates. - Working with the TVM Fashion Lab Design, Sales and Production teams to successfully launch commercial products into store. - Creating trend presentations at the beginning of each season, looking at new graphics, techniques and shapes. - Competition shopping in Paris, Antwerp, Barcelona and London to research trend and ideas. - Visiting factories in Bangladesh for quality control and production development. - Providing artwork training to Li & Fung employees in China.
- Designing accessories including jewellery, hair accessories, bags, fancy dress and cosmetics using the Disney licence as well as creating branded products for Hello Kitty, Me To You and Peter Rabbit. - Also designing seasonal ranges and sterling silver Christening ranges. - Working with clients including Tesco, M&S, Argos, Disney Stores and Toys R Us. - Using Adobe Creative Suite to create CADs in conjunction with the branded style guides and producing CADs of how these products might look in-store. - Creating Powerpoint presentations for potential clients to introduce the company and its products. - Responsibility for overseeing the Hed Kandi account, liaising with the company account managers and graphic designers.
